Containers, Terrace Planting & Service
Container plantings are a simple and elegant way to change the look of a terrace, pool area, front porch or entry. Urns, containers, window boxes and plant material are specifically selected based on client's taste and color scheme. As always you may opt for designer’s choice.
Container Service
This service is provided for those who are too busy to water and maintain their container gardens, window boxes, urns, containers or interior plants. This service may also be utilized when you are out of town, whenever maintenance is needed or to provide a new seasonal design.
Service includes: Watering, fertilizing, dead-heading, cleaning and winterizing containers at season’s end. Plants are fertilized at each visit to ensure maximum bloom and plant potential.
Frequency of visits is based on location and size of containers. Cost is on a per visit basis.
Containers Through the Year
Spring: Pansies, bulb plants and cold-loving plants are most commonly used. Installation may happen as early as April 1st depending upon weather.
Summer: So many choices available in plant material, starting from mid-May. You may change to a more autumnal look after Labor Day.
Autumn: Cool weather plants. The assortment is far greater than just mums!
Winter: Choose from a variety of needle evergreens, broadleaf evergreens, ivy, berries, fruit, colorful branches and pine cones. Also available are artificial berries and fruits that may be re-used each season. Garden Designs will be happy to store artificial branches for you.
Holiday: For a more festive container add lights, bows or garland.
